By Heather Picken Many women complain that it’s a lot harder after you turn 30 to get what we call six pack abs. First you need to determine where you are. If you have let’s say 28% body fat just know that your six pack abs won’t be visible until you get your body fat down. For women it is most likely in the lower teens. What types of food do I need to be eating? You should be eating lots of lean proteins like chicken, egg whites, and fish. Stay away from processed meats because they will affect your fat loss progress. Also, I teach women what I call 5 Star Foods, eating these foods will help in achieving your six pack abs. Foods are not all created equal so if you want the best results then you have to put the best fat-burning foods in your body. The breakdown of your foods is also important. Don’t make the mistake of eliminating all your complex carbohydrates either as it will impair your metabolism, but you will need to modify your intake. Every woman is different when putting this type of program together. What types of exercise should I be doing? I recommend fat-burning workouts. Doing workouts that are intense and lifting enough weight that is challenging is key. What about cardio? This is dependent on how much body fat you have. Some women will have to do more in order to get the results they want. Don’t make the mistake of just walking, this will not achieve those six pack abs.You need to do interval cardio to really get your body fat down and to start seeing those abs. How long will it take depends on where you are. From there, you can put together a plan of action. Diet is crucial in sculpting those abs. Yes, you will have to be more disciplined in your eating. But, the good thing is that you can actually have a small treat every week while you begin your transformation. You must be patient in the process and focus on your goal and don’t think just because you’re over 30 that you can’t accomplish this..because you can. The mind is actually the most important part in this process as it controls everything you do from exercising and eating exactly how you need to. My whole focus in working with women is re-conditioning their mind to get the body they want. For example, I could give you the best six pack abs diet and exercise program but if you don’t have the right “brain software”, then you will fail to get the results you want so keep this in mind when you are setting your fitness goals. By Betty Blackburn Today, like every Saturday, my two daughters and I went to the mall. It is one day just the three of us can spend some “girl time” shopping,looking at clothes, and have lunch. All week they’ve been asking to visit a new store that recently opened… “Build-a-bear”. I’ve checked them out online and they seemed over-priced, but I went anyway. I was impressed. It was actually very fun. First you pick out a Bear (or cat or dog etc). It’s just an empty stuffed toy. My oldest, 12 years old, picked a soft tan teddy bear aka READ BEAR, and my youngest, 6 years old, picked a white cat, aka SASSY KITTY. Then we waited in line with other eager children and their limp, unstuffed bears, cats and dogs. While waiting in line you can see displays of clothing, shoes, accessories, costumes and more… all for your bear. After a 10-15 minute wait in line, we reach the “Stuffing station” - They hook your bear up to a machine and add the stuffing! The kids get to step on a foot paddle to work the machine. When stuffed, they add a little heart…but not until the kids make a wish, and add things like love, smarts etc etc to it. Then the heart is added to the insides and sewn up. Next the best part!! Clothes shopping! My kids got one complete outfit each. But now I know what to tell friends and relatives to get them for christmas! By Anthony Smith The Watchtower Society (Jehovah’s Witnesses) and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormons) False doctrine comes in many forms and from many different people. The biggest problem is, that those that teach these things are deceiving themselves and those that they teach. The W.T.Society, denies the Deity of Jesus, as the Son of God. This is very sad concerning those that teach this, and to those that agree with this doctrine. Not being content with the True Word of God, the Society, has written their own version of the Bible. Removing those things that they do not believe in and, or, refusing to believe. One of their main teachings is about those that will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven. They believe that only 144,000 will enter. If that is so, then how many of their past and present congregations will be, or are, lost? This question they will not answer. Where did this doctrine come from? The misunderstanding of the Book of Revelations. Rev 7:4 And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel. The Bible is very easily understood, when the Holy Ghost leads you into the truth. The 144,000 are sealed Jews from the 12 Tribes of Israel and not as a number to only be allowed into the Kingdom of Heaven. So according to their doctrine, none of the 144,000 will be Jews, only from The Watchtower Society. Which is contrary to the Gospel. Most false doctrines, denie a connection between the Jewish House of Israel and salvation. The Children of Israel, are, the Chosen people of God. They will be saved, as a Nation, in accordance with the Promises of God. Another proof of this is also in the Book of Revelations. Rev 7:9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; Rev 7:14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. Lets take John 1:1 as an example. (NWT)1. In [the] beginning the Word was, and the Word was with God, and the Word was a god. This shows that, they do not believe that Jesus is the Son of God, also that Jesus and God are not one as the Bible States. (KJV)John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. As you can see, the teachings from this book cannot be used because they have again used one letter to change the meaning of the verse. The word and God cannot be separated because God and His Word are the Same. Another example is John 1:5 (NWT)And the light is shining in the darkness, but the darkness has not overpowered it. To overpower, crush; to subdue; to destroy,to suppress (KJV)John 1:5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. Comprehended;This word means admitted it not, or received it not. The word comprehend, with us, means to understand. Again as you can see changing the word Comprehended to overpower, changes the meaning of the verse. This is unacceptable. In the Old Testament book of Zechariah, chapter 12 verse 10. Jehovah God is speaking and says, “they shall look upon me whom they have pierced” . The Watchtower Society has changed this verse in the NWT to read “they will certainly look to the One whom they pierced through,” thus eliminating another reference to the deity of Jesus Christ. The Society made similar changes to many other verses relating to the deity of Christ (Colossians 1:16-20; Titus 2:13; Hebrews 1:8). They have also altered verses that expose the WT Society’s false teaching on subjects like the reality of eternal punishment (Matthew 25:46), and the personality of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 14:14-16; 1 Timothy 4:1; Jude 19). In this way the Watchtower Society gives Jehovah’s Witnesses and potential converts the illusion that the Bible supports its erroneous doctrines.
